HOW TO SPOT FAKE JEWELLERY
Unfortunately it isn’t as rare as you may believe to come across counterfeit jewellery. Pricing is one of the most obvious signs, if it looks too good to be true, it most likely is. Therefore, before starting your search it's a good idea to do some research to get a rough idea for the pricing of the item you're wishing to purchase. Another red flag is if it lacks a hallmark, as it is illegal to sell or describe any item — over a certain weight limit — as gold, silver, platinum or palladium unless it has been hallmarked.
